Decision of Mr. Prof. Dr. / Rushdie Zahran, President of Alexandria University awarded Prof. Dr / Farouk Shehata, a leading graphic art, award, Dr. Taha Hussein, the first president of the University of Alexandria, and that on the nomination of Mr. Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Hilal Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts in recognition of his efforts over many long artistic career, and his contributions to the university service internally and externally, and service configurations where artists exhibited in most of the world
